Ten (10) or more years of experience in the investigation and remediation of hazardous chemicals, petroleum, and low-level radioactive waste throughout Canada
• Experience working with PWGSC and private industry clients in Canada.
• Successful demonstration of a seller/doer role, being able to identify and win opportunities as well as executing project management at a senior level.
• Able to effectively bid and execute work, working with internal staff and external partners. Able to leverage existing networks and develop new ones.
• Has had direct line management responsibility for staff.
• Has demonstrated abilities to grow revenues in mature programs.
• Canadian P.Eng or professional geoscientist registration and PMP preferred.
• Thorough understanding of Federal and provincial environmental regulations
• Has strong professional relationships with federal and commercial clients in Canada
• Plans and directs activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters
• Arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel
• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
• Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required
• Prepare project reports for management, client, or others
• Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
• Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies
• Manage supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
